A world of joyful discovery awaits you and your child in Classic Tales‘n Tunes! Join us as we celebrate learning through stories, music, movement and puppetry in a rich, multi-lingual curriculum.

Each lesson centers on a theme, adding excitement, meaning and accessibility to children of widely varying language skills. Spanish and American Sign Language, the 2nd and 3rd most common languages in our country, are woven into each lesson to facilitate communications and further enrich our classes.

Our interactive format sparks interest and nurtures confidence and a positive self-image. And the use of “classic” materials – music and stories by legendary writers and musicians - conveys the gift of our rich cultural legacy to future generations.

Thanks to our small class size and differentiated instruction, each child is challenged at his or her own level. Adult participation is required, and parents and caregivers enjoy our classes as much as the children!

Two different programs are available: Tiny Tunes for infants through 17 months and Classic Tales ‘n Tunes for 18 months to under 5 years. Each program is offered in quarterly sessions for a set number of weekly classes. Most classes are 45 minutes long, but a few Tiny Tunes classes are only 30 minutes long, so check the schedule carefully. Most parents re-enroll their children for multiple sessions to take advantage of our 2 years of curriculum.

Classic Tales 'n Tunes LLC is this year's winner of the prestigious Fairfax County's Human Rights award!!! The award recognizes our program for teaching inclusiveness and tolerance, "removing the seeds of discrimination before they can take root." We are deeply honored by this award and remain committed to making our program accessible to the diverse community in which we live.
